letter 02-04-09

How has your week been? Mine has been so long; but transfer weeks usually are and I am so ready for a p-day and to go have some physical activity. Well the only thing new would be that we are having a baptism on Valentines Day but I think you might have known about that already but if you didn't hurray for us we are having a baptism on the 14th and we are getting very close with another girl in the ward too. Calgary is beautiful right now. The weather has been so mild and so nice these last few weeks and it’s weird to think that we really only have 20 more days of winter. We do get a bit of spring time snow so I'm still looking forward to that. Well I have a few things to catch you up on. My comp and I and the zone leaders and the mandarin missionaries are all going to sushi tonight for dinner so that is going to be very exciting. We don’t get to do anything like that very often so it will be real fun. I will take pictures so you can see. Last week we did so good finding people to teach and this week it has been slow, hard work. On Thursday night we were street contacting with the Chinese elders and we went back to where we parked the car so we could go back home for dinner. Just as we were getting into the car one of those Red Bull cars drove in and parked by us. Two of the most amazing B.D.O.G.'s (beautiful daughters of god) got out and started talking to four young guys dressed up in nice suits. It was fun telling them what we were doing and why we were dressed up like this. They asked us what we were up to tonight and we said that we were just heading for dinner and they said ya we just want to find a place to hang. As soon as they said that it was like we all said we have to go now. As we were leaving they gave us each a can of Red Bull and the cans are on our desks to remember the night. Please keep writing, it is great to hear from those of you that write.
P.S. working hard with no regrets
